Outdoor Soccer 2010

Volunteers Needed!

The Glastonbury Community League is looking for a VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE of approximately 6 volunteers to run the outdoor soccer season for 2010. The positions include:

• Soccer Coordinator Lead (liason with Edmonton West Zone Soccer Association and other coordinators)

• Registration Coordinator (organize registration, sort and enter teams)

• Coach/Referee Coordinator (assign coaches, hire referees)

• Equipment Manager (distribute and collect equipment)

• Photo coordinator (coordinate team photos)

• Volunteer coordinator (manage volunteer cheques)

As a reminder to all parents of outdoor soccer players, the Glastonbury Community League and our programs are entirely VOLUNTEER run. The success of the outdoor soccer program depends on having a dedicated group of volunteers to operate the program. Without these volunteers the outdoor soccer program will NOT operate. We depend on ALL parents to volunteer in some capacity to make the season a success.

Our soccer coordinator for the last 3 years, Tashsa Guest, has put in a tremendous amount of time and energy into making our community league soccer successful. The board of directors would like to thank her for her dedication and hard work!
